Can't find that hard to find part. Post your needs here.

Iskra 68k 1 watt or 1/2 watt resistors

Postby neikeel » Fri Sep 26, 2008 6:33 pm

Needed for input on '68 Superlead so full length leads not essential

Also a 15k Iskra (for bias circuit).

I have a few Pihers and Iskras as well as Mustards (0.0022/0.01/0.018/0.022/0.039/0.1/0.15/0.22 and 0.47uF) and assorted RS silver micas to swap if required 8)

I may have one or the other here. I have to dig out the box and check. :)

The ones I have are all 1/4 watt resistors.

I am not proud 8) .

If you can spare x4 68k Iskras 1/4 watt that would be great (they see no real 'action' on the inputs anyway). Obviously the 15k bias feed is a different matter, I will stick with what I have for that.

What can I swap :)

Neil,

unless you have already and I know it's not exactly what your looking for but I might have a 1/2 watt Piher 15K in this mess somewhere

Here you go:
Image

Here we have a Radiospares OT for two 6L6s, RS on/of switch, RS 1meg pot (volume fromm '67 SL) voltage selector (old style with plug), 470pF dogbone ceramic lemcos, 0.1uF Hunts snubbers, 470pF, 390pF 47pF RS silver micas (lots more in smaller and larger sizes), 500pF Lemco silver mica, 10k, 1k, 100k 2watt Pihers

Image

18k Piher (hundreds of these) 100k Iskras, 33k iskras (1/2 and 1 watt), 1meg 1/2 watt, pointy marshall knobs x3, late 60's/70's impedence selector, 0.022uF grey RS caps, 0.022uF Mustards, 47k Iskras (2watt), 10k Iskra, 4k7 iskras

Image

0.68uF grey (250v) caps, 0.68uF WIMA (400v) and 0.68uF WIMA 160V, 0.47uF 160volts, 0.22uF 400v, 0.15uF 400v, 0.039uF 400v, 0.018uF
400v, 0.01uF (400v) and 0.0022uF (400v)

Image

Assorted silver micas (lots of 110, 150 and 180pF and a few larger values eg 820, 1000, 6800pF)

These are my Marshall type bits I have quite a lot of old carbon comps as seen in AC30s and used stuff.

I have posted them here rather than pm in case is stimulates someone else to look for the bits I need i.e.

68k Iskras x4, 68k Pihers x4, 470k Piher x1, 15k Iskra x1, 56k Piher x1, 27k Piher x1, 820R Iskra x2 and 820R Piher (these last two must be full length leads)

Just realised, those 1/4 watts will be tiny, what length is the body of the resistor and the leads (the smaller ones ie the smaller 33k iskra is, I believe 1/2 watt, could be wrong.

Oh my. I may need a few Pihers for one of my Marshall's.

The 68K 1/4W Iskras are 3 inches long and the body is 3/8 long. I have them packed already so please tell me you want them.

I'm sure there is something I want but I need to look at what my amp needs first. :)

I just got some big boxes with old parts - lots of old european carb-comps, jensen oil caps and green "mustards"

Hi David

Any sign of the 15k (seen anything to trade/swap?)
