Park 75

Hi Gang...

Posted this at Metro too, mainly just an educational question, don't think I'd build one, but you never know.
I'm a sick David Grissom junkie, and of course I read the new artical with him in Premier Guitar, talking about using a Park 75.

So my question...from checking out the historical pages here on the marstran site, it looks to be pretty standard bass spec 50 watt, including the OT, but using KT88s.

How does one accomplish that in a build? Does the PT need to change, or is it just a matter of screen and bias resistor change?

I agree, it doesn’t appear possible to get 75 watts from the 50 watt transformer. The power supply and turns ratio of the output transformer would have to be different. Chris Merren does sell transformer sets as far as I know.
