JTM build with marstran

Postby evostar » Thu May 14, 2009 7:55 am

Hi
I just fineshed building a JTM45.
I used marstran transformers, 1202-55 PT
784-103 OT
and a 20H Radio Spares Choke

The PTP circuitboard and chassis is from Ceriatone.

It was motorboating because the OT primairy needed to be reversed...
I found out because the problem wan't severe when I disconected the OT sec com from earth (feedback was positive)

Sound files will follow soon!
It's sounds great to my ears.

The mid pot broke, so I'm waiting for a replacement. and I need a 100pF for the bright master (now 500pF nice and allways bright)

The second output is still empty, because I'm considering a PPIMV

PPIMV build in, without good results... Made it with a 1M dual pot... too much damping...
Ill try it again with a 250K dual log pot, LAR/MAR style, with a top cut alla vox ac15
