Hi everyone.
New in this forum and starting with a question. I´m actually repairing a 30 year old amp, a spanish brand called Sinmarc, a very fine copy of a Boogie Mk IIb. The thing is about the output trafo. The original was replaced some years ago and the new one looks like a Marshall type but I´m not sure that is wired in the right way. The amp is a 100 watts 2 x 12" combo powered by 4 x EL 34`s. The primary side has two holes in the cover. A red wire comes out from one of this holes an a white wire and a brown wire from the other one. The red and the brown goes to the plates of the tubes. The secondary side has another two holes. A blck wire comes out from one of this holes and goes to ground and from the other hole comes 3 wires: brown (4 ohm), yellow (8 ohm) and green. Last one was not attached and I guess is the 16 ohm winding, just because the amp has not a 16 ohm speaker out on the rear.
I must say that the trafo seems to work right, but I`d like to be sure, so any help will be very much appreciated.
You will find some pics in a folder attached. I hope that`ll be useful.
Thanks a lot.
