new BluesBreaker Book, Wallace/Marstran connection!

Thought you all might like to know...especially since Brian is not one to
toot his own horn...

I recently received a brand-new book in the US Mail, one that I just heard about
maybe one week ago today:

https://store.bluebookinc.com/Ecom/ProductDetail.aspx?id=380&industry=2 (<<< link to publisher site, with sample pgs)

It's a great book, and pretty thorough and accurate as far as I can tell from having it only 2 days.
Better yet, it's got our own host cited many times for references and photo contributions,
and thanked for his assistance to the author during the writing of the text !

Congratulations, Brian!

Glad you finally got your copy, Brian!
Very good to see your own name, published in a nice reference text, about Amps!
Congratulations again... it's well-deserved!

vaguely remembered this article:

http://www.premierguitar.com/magazine/I ... sited.aspx

and I guess it's the same guy? Can't go thru it in detail at the moment, but from what I remember it was pretty good, so if the book is along the same lines, probably expect a good result. Glad the author picked someone knowledgable to consult about the JTMs.

edit:

is there anything that's come to light courtesy of Ken Underwood in the book or is that perhaps just way too new?

Hello Dai,
Same author as the book, you're absolutely correct, and the same style of writing in the book,
with the addition many good and solid references cited. I may be mistaken, but don't think that Mr. Underwood
has much (if any) input in the book, but I cannot double-check as I had my copy a quick week and sent it off
to a friend in the Netherlands...( I DO have another copy on the way though...)
The Bluesbreaker book reminds me of the type of detail in the new VOX book, even though the BB book is a much smaller
volume.
