Postby Brian Wallace » Fri Nov 25, 2011 12:05 pm

I will be taking orders for this new OT very soon. Here is a clip done by Ralle from the Metro forum.

This clip was recorded at bedroom levels. A clip at higher volumes is coming soon.

Hi everyone.
Thanx for posting that clip...
This was done with my 100w plexi... Dave F speqs but with .68u v2, and 27k/16 ohm tap feed back...
I run it from 8 ohm on the amp to an 8 ohm cab...

A truely great sounding Ot...

Thanx Brian

I think a lot of guys are convinced that the 2.2.k is the way to go vs the 2.5k per this thread:
http://forum.marstran.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=364

Can we do this?

I think it's splitting hairs but if enough people want it, I will have them made.

I'm sure that Chris's ot sounds great... I've heard the MM copy of it... I belive it's a more liniear ot than Brians's 2.5k is...
The differences comparerd to Brians ot I could hear, was that it had a bit too much agressive highs, and not enough of those sweet mids that allso contributes to that ( at the same time ) raw, sticky, lower mids due to the higher Z... simply a -132 charcaristics... but with more Z...
That was allso the exact differences I heard when I comparerd it to Ed's sound...

I'm working on it this month. I think I should do a dual primary so everyone will be happy.
