Hi all,

This is my 67 SB PT :

Is 2381 a model number ? I expected this PT to be a T2562 (and it looks just like a T2562).

It sure looks like one but the black paper is making me think a bit. I need to look at some pictures I have.

It's not actually paper but some kind of plastic tape, here's a couple more pics taken after I removed the copper band :

The more I look at it it looks like it may have been rewound at some point. The wires seem like the old ones though.

Brian, one of the primary wires (orange, neutral) just snapped, as I was about to solder it. I guess the transformer now needs a rewind. Can you do that ? I wouldn't want this tranny to end up in the wrong hands so unless there is an easy cure I'll be willing to ship it over to the US for you to have a look at it.
I still have to order some 50W Dagnall OT by the way.
