Very nice! Bet it sounds killer.
One can always spot Rays extremely high quality handiwork. I really like the covering on that head box.
Mind if I ask value of choke?

That looks like a very early 3H Marstran choke to me.
Remember....You can fix it with a little extra energy and a positive attitude. ;)

Yeah Ray really did a fantastic job on this, flawless and of course the board as well :D

Not sure the value of the choke, actually an old purchase from the JTM45 Group. Suppose it is around 3H but never measured the thing but will the next time I have the amp opened up.

Do you know what the value is of that Ceramic Cap on the Mix Resistor pair? (The 270K resistors)?
I just soldered up a JTM45 board and am trying out a 330pf Cap there instead of the usual 500pf one...

Think that was a 470pf but has been changed to a silver mica 556pf.

Did changing that cap make a big difference in sound?

yeah some diff but I'm not sure if it's because of the value or the compostion
