Nice supertrem looks 69 not 68

Is this amp a lash up? Is it original? You get the point.

uk postage approx £50

so about 70 dollars(US). Seems kinda pricey, or is that par for the course?

Maybe this means nothing at all but I have the same Marcon 40uf caps in my 68 50W.

Yes, funny no gut shots.

Postage in the UK is about £25, maybe £50 in a flightcase?

I sent a Superlead to Italy for a tad over £100 with full insurance.............

Interesting about the caps. Maybe I misinterpreted the window selectors, and preamp can up top, or did trems start that earlier than 69.5?

Wasn’t it around 1968 when Marshall turned the OT around 90 degrees ? Looks like this one predates that event.

david, thanks for the link. Starting bid is pretty insane! Very cool pics. :) Interesting that this is another one with ceramic(s for both). Let's start a new Rangemaster myth here saying that the ceramic-equipped are the magic ones.

yeah who knows? (I was actually half-joking, half-serious) Maybe some of that ceramic cap distortion will help add some interesting colour compared to film. Sometimes things seem to sound more right with a ceramic. I can think of a Maestro Fuzz-tone clone I built a long time ago as one case (input cap if memory serves).
