New Forum look.

OK, I upgraded to the phpbb3 forum. This is supposed to help keep the bots out. Lets see what happens and as always, let me know what problems arise.

It looks different and has a ton of different features I need to check out.

I don't think any of the php boards I visit have upgraded to version 3 but I think Metro is doing it as we speak. He was hit with a ton of spam bots and needs to get the upgrade.

He's been getting killed with them for a while now. A remember talking to him about it more then a year ago. Youd have all these members like viagranow and fatmuff4u joining up by the hundreds. Whoever writes that shit should literally die.

I know Billy Batz would take care of them.

The switch over should be fairly quick. I wonder what's taking George, or whomever is doing it, so long? So far this version has kept them out without any mods. I'm liking it very much.

Brian, small suggestion: I was thinking maybe it would be a good idea to have a direct link up top (or at least somewhere on this forum index page) to the Marstran transformers site. (Was also thinking that about the metroamps bbs also. If there was a link, they could just go straight to the store to shop for stuff they just read about.) The Marstran Xfrmers site shouldn't be hard to find really, but I guess it would be just a bit more convenient, esp. if someone ends up at the bbs first through google or whichever search engine. Good idea?

Good suggestion Dai. I think I can link the logo to the site.

Added note: I added the Marstran link to the front page logo.
