Can anyone explain which Choke to select to provide the biggest voltage drop between
the main B+ and screen node ... or am I not thinking about the chokes function properly

A choke with a DCR value higher than 100 ohms will drop more voltage, my RS choke has a 600 plus DCR, but this is not the end all to lowering the screen voltage. You could go as far as setting up a separate B+ feed for the screen to ensure you reach the needed voltage level on your screens.
Remember....You can fix it with a little extra energy and a positive attitude. ;)

I guess the 20h/690r works well in amps with high voltage such as the super 100 amps
